Everything you need to get started, configure your workflow, and troubleshoot issues.
Download Duplyfi for Windows, macOS, or Linux from the download page. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. The application auto-updates when new versions are available.
Visit duplyfi.com and create an account with your email. You get a free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required.
Open the Duplyfi desktop app and sign in with your account credentials. Your license is automatically activated and your device is bound to your account. The number of simultaneous devices depends on your plan (Starter: 1, Pro: 3, Agency: 10).
The Video Repurposer takes a single source video and generates multiple unique variations by applying a combination of effects. Each output is pixel-fresh and metadata-clean, adapted for distribution as distinct content pieces across TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and Pinterest.
Drag and drop video files into the application, or use Ctrl+O to open a file picker. Use Ctrl+Shift+O to open a folder and batch-import all video files within it.
Duplyfi includes 27 video & audio effects and 13 image transforms. Video effects span five categories: Color (saturation, contrast, brightness, vignette, gamma), Motion and Geometry (speed, zoom, rotation, flip, dimensions, random pixel size), Visual Effects (noise, pixel shift, waveform shift, blurred border, cut video, cut end video), Audio (volume adjustment, audio bitrate, spectral tilt equalizer), and Encoding (framerate, video bitrate, QP variation, metadata injection). Image transforms are handled by a separate Sharp pipeline covering resize, crop, rotation, blur, sharpen, color adjustments, channel shifts, format conversion, EXIF replacement, and noise injection.
Configure your desired effects and their ranges, set the number of outputs, then press Ctrl+Enter or click the Start button to begin processing. Output files are saved with randomized filenames to prevent tracing back to the original.
The Image Uniquifier applies subtle modifications to images including metadata stripping, pixel-level noise injection, and dimensional adjustments. Each output is unique at the binary level while remaining visually consistent with the original.
JPEG, PNG, WebP, and TIFF are supported as input. Output format matches the input by default, or can be configured in settings.
Duplyfi ships with 10 built-in presets optimized for common use cases: TikTok Native, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Maximum Variation, Subtle Touch, OFM Standard (All Platforms), TikTok OFM Heavy, Instagram OFM, Reddit Safe, and High-Volume Speed. Each preset is fully editable.
Create your own presets by configuring effects to your preferred values, then saving them via the Preset Maker. Custom presets can be edited, duplicated, and deleted.
Presets can be exported as JSON files and imported on other devices or shared with team members. Use the export button in the Preset Maker to save presets externally.

Duplyfi offers a free trial, Starter ($49.99/mo, 1 device), Pro ($99.99/mo, 3 devices), and Agency ($199.99/mo, 10 devices) plans. All paid plans include all effects with no daily limits. Annual billing saves 25%. See the pricing page for full details.
The number of active devices depends on your plan (Starter: 1, Pro: 3, Agency: 10). To add or switch devices, manage your bindings from account settings or contact support@duplyfi.com.
Manage your subscription, update payment details, download invoices, or cancel through the customer portal. Access it from your account settings within the app or on the Duplyfi website.
Duplyfi bundles all processing dependencies automatically. If you see this error, try reinstalling the application. On Linux, ensure the AppImage has execute permissions (chmod +x).
Ensure you have an active internet connection. If the error persists, check that your subscription is active in the customer portal. If you have reached your device limit, deactivate another device first.
Video processing is CPU-intensive. Close other heavy applications during batch processing. Reducing the number of concurrent worker threads in Settings can help on lower-end hardware.
Ensure your effect ranges are not set to zero. At least one effect must have a non-zero range for outputs to vary from each other.
Delete the application config folder and restart. On Windows: %APPDATA%/duplyfi, on macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/duplyfi, on Linux: ~/.config/duplyfi. If the issue persists, contact support@duplyfi.com with your OS version.
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Operating System | Windows 10+, macOS 12+, Ubuntu 20.04+ (glibc 2.31+) | Windows 11, macOS 14+, Ubuntu 22.04+ |
| CPU | 4 cores | 8+ cores |
| RAM | 4 GB | 8 GB+ |
| Disk | 2 GB free (plus space for output files) | SSD recommended for faster I/O |
| GPU | Not required — CPU fallback always available | NVIDIA (NVENC), Apple Silicon (VideoToolbox), or Linux (VAAPI) — detected automatically |
| Internet | Required for initial activation and license validation | Required for initial activation and license validation |
All dependencies are bundled — no separate installs needed on any platform.
Parallel processing auto-scales based on available hardware. Systems with less than 12 GB RAM are capped at 2 concurrent workers.
Hardware-accelerated encoding (NVENC / VideoToolbox / VAAPI) is detected automatically with graceful CPU fallback when unavailable.
